FOR AWARDING SCALE TO THE LAB TECHNICIAN

The applicants names were sponsored from the employment exchange for recruitment to the post of Lab Technicians Gr.-II. Written and oral tests were conducted by the District Selection Committee under the Chairman ship of District Collector. They selected and appointed them in the said post. But unfortunately the post of Lab Technician Gr-II downgraded as Lab Attendant and appointed them as lab Attendants against the post of Lab Technical Gr-II in the existing vacancy of Lab Technician Gr-II in the time scale of 1535-2840/-. In the year 1995 who were recruited as Lab Technicians along with them were awarded scale i.e 1875-3750 from the date of their appointment in some districts. but the applicants were awarded scale 1535-2870/- instead of 1875-3759/-. As per Spl service rules the applicants cases shall be considered to the post of lab Technician Gr-II as they have obtained certificate of lab technician Course within the period of probation. Thus they are fully eligible for the post of Lab Technicians Gr-II. But the Government /respondents did not consider inspite of several representations made on their grievance. Thus there is violation of principle of natural justice and They approached to Hon’ble Tribunal, the Court directed the respondent- government to consider their request and pass appropriate orders for awarding of pay scale 1875-3750/-
