Regularization of Services of the Caretaker of Guests House

The petitioner was selected as care taker to the guest house of the Oriental Insurance Company for a monthly salary. After passing of some years, the company has intended to give contractors for maintenance of guests houses by abolishing/removing the caretaker post/job. In that circumstance the petitioner approached to the Hon’ble High Court for regularization of his service. The petitioner has completed 240 days service and entitled for regularization of his service after length of service. The Hon’ble High Court admitted the matter and granted interim directions to the respondent company to continue the petitioner in service and pay salary regularly. The respondents have filed vacate stay petition and the same was dismissed and since then the petitioner is continuing in his service and getting salary regularly.
